Bio
It seems Don has always been a photographer; it's part of his being. Ever since his parents presented him with a camera as a child, he's rarely been seen without one.

Murray says, "On a recent assignment photographing the Dalai Lama and nine other Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, the Secret Service required me to leave my gear in the press room for several hours while it was screened. It felt so strange being without a camera. I was uncomfortable."

For Don, the power of photography is it's ability to communicate an idea. "I want an image to keep creaping back into your mind long after it's left your view," says Murray. Corporations utilizing his vision include General Electric, Ford Motors, Amana, CH2M HILL, Novo Nordisk and KeyBank, to name a few. His images and stories have been featured in a variety of newspapers including the Los Angeles Times, Daily Camera, Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post, and national consumer magazines such as Gourmet, Food & Wine and First For Women.

Don has a B.S. Marketing from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Denver. He has held positions on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Media Photographers and the Art Directors Club. His editorial coverage and feature stories are distributed by ZUMA Press international picture agency and wire service.
