It’s not that I’m fascinated with death, although death is a pretty fascinating topic. I mean, we’ve pondered death and the meaning of our existence since the beginning of humanity. So, what better subject matter for a photo essay, right? But, I digress, because, that’s not what this story’s about. Nope, It’s my artistic interpretation of how we memorialize those who’ve passed away—the places we establish for them. The things we erect, and adorn them with. The sticks and stones, per se, that are left behind! I know I’m not alone in finding peace in cemeteries because I often encounter others who enjoy the solitude of a place where many souls abound.
